Why tall format changes the build
When you are covering a 4-meter-tall stage backdrop with LED panels, the format of the cabinet determines how many horizontal joints run across the image. A wall of 500×500 panels has a joint line every half meter of height — eight seams on a four-metre wall, eight rows of hardware to align and lock. The same wall in 500×1000 panels has four rows. Fewer joints means a cleaner image, a faster rig and a shorter punch-list at the end of the night.
